Happy Fall!

Yesterday I purchased a stack of fall themed paper.  It is "Recollections" "Simply Autumn".  I love the fall, it's my favourite season and here in Alberta, Canada, it has been a beautiful fall, the weather has been perfect.  I tend to stay away from doing cards with pumpkins, because they are usually associated with halloween, which I don't do.  So these are simply a part of fall.  I added the sentiment, coloured with my Copics & cut out with Nesties, then finished off with a raffia bow.

You can see the sparkles better here, the paper is very pretty.

Here's a closer view of the sentiment:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Pretty!!
I love pumpkins! I love the taste and the beauty of pumpkins.
When I was a child, nobody here in Austria knew anything about Halloween. But people decorated their homes with pumpkins, because they grow in fall... so I like them even if people associate them now with something else than fall!
Hugs,
Uli
And - not to forget - I really do love the delicious oil from the seeds!

Thanks for your comments guys!
Ulina, I grew up in England and it was the same thing, we had never heard of halloween, and I can't even remember seeing a pumpkin...I know we never ate them anyway. About 20 years ago we visited New England in the fall, and it seemed that everybody decorated their front porches with fall things, like pumpkins, corn stalks, potted mums etc. It looked beautiful and I wanted to do it, but no-one does it here, just halloween decorating.
Have a great day, I really do appreciate the comments.
Luv, Babs
