A Cut Above!

Hi there, welcome to my blog, I'm so glad you popped in!

Today I have another card to share with you.
I saw this one on Pinterest

I thought it was such a cute idea, and I liked the sentiment, so I decided to give it a try.
Here's my version...

I found the scissors clip art online, it was a free download.  The sentiment I made with my *Memory Mixer* program on the computer.

Here's the inside, ready for me to write my message.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a nice day!

Pamper Card - 2nd time around!

I decided I didn't really like the last card I posted, so I took it apart and re-made it.  Here it is......second time around.

Basically the same *ingredients*, different style.
I changed the background to green & added the *retired* picture instead of the window.  I also printed out a narrower, taller version of the dresser, so that it would fit better.

A closer look

Saw this free download on Paulettes blog today, perfect for my card, so I made a hanging picture with it.

Also added Glossy Accents to her glasses

That's all for now, thanks for looking!

Pamper Yourself Card!

Today I have a retirement card for a friend to show you.
This one is a step card.  They are great for doing what I call *scene* cards.

All of the elements used are digital images that I have printed and coloured with Copic markers.  I have saved these over the years and so I don't remember where I got them from.  Some I purchased, some were free.

As you can see in this picture, I cut 2 of the cup, duck and her arm to give some dimension.

I came across the following on Pinterest....

.....aint that the truth!  lol

Thanks friends for dropping by today, I hope you have a wonderful day.
Come back soon!

Old Fashioned Chair Card

Hello friends,
Another card to show you today.
I used the pretty *Preppy Princess* paper stack from DCWV.

A closer look
The chair is a digital image, as are the clock faces.  The dragonfly is a metal embellishment.  I used a straight edge punch to make the white edging on the circle.  Directions for how to do this are here

I made an envelope too... below

I love my new We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

Thanks for stopping by today, I appreciate your visits.
Till next time.....

Vintage

Hello again!
My second post today is another card, this time it's vintage style.

The elements are digital images that I already had stored on my computer, I can't remember where any of them are from, as I have had them a long time.  If you recognize any as yours, let me know.

That's all for today folks,

Pretty Shabby

Good morning all.
Today's post is a card that I made yesterday.  My inspiration was this beautiful card by Gabrielle.

Isn't it beautiful?
You can see more of her creations here

I used DCWV *Preppy Princess* stack

My version is a centre step card

After I took the pictures, I decided to add this little bee.

Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a lovely day!
