Over the years my hubby has enjoyed having horses.
Unfortunately, his last one, Cass, died about a year ago.
Now he has a new one, Baron, and since he has been through a lot this past year or so, I decided that he should have a card to celebrate.
The cute digi images are from Bugaboo Stamps
I saw the woven background on a very cute card made by Tracy, and just had to try it. Go here for the tutorial. I used white c.s. for the strips and inked the edges with distress ink. I added the strip of corrugated cardboard and the string bow. The digi's are all coloured with Copics. (The border around the horse looks pink, but it's red) The sentiment on the inside is computer generated using the font 'bleeding cowboys'. Hmmmmm!
An inside look.....
Thanks for visiting today.

Oh it looks great Babs! It really makes a fun textured background doesn't it. :-) I'm so glad you could use the tute. All your western images fit together so well. Love me some Bugaboo! Hugs!
Cute card. I love your woven background. I've made a few myself in the past, found them fun to do. Hugs lin
You did AMAZING with Tracy's tutorial. Your card is just OUTSTANDING!!! So cute.
I love the card! The horse is adorable. I'm sure he loved the card. Your baby album is awesome! Congratulations. Hugs, dj
Hi again, I also would love to know where you got the font. Thanks, dj
Hi dj, Thanks for nice comments. Here is where you can get the font that is on the inside of the card. It is called "Bleeding Cowboys". If you meant the one on the front, I don't know because it came with the picture of the horse.
