Update:
I moved a few months ago and now have a new craft room, if you would like to see it, here is the link.
It's been about a year since we re-did my craft room.

It's been about a year since we re-did my craft room.
It was a lot of work, but certainly worth it.
I have a place for everything and love working here.
Here's some pictures....believe me, it doesn't always look this tidy!
This is the view from the door. I almost always stand up when I craft, so we purchased these shelves and desk top from Ikea and my hubby raised them to the perfect height for me. I now have 2 raised stools at this desk (below)
More Ikea units.
This is where I keep my Cricut and cartridges. I have since sold my personal Cricut and bought an Expression 2, also have quite a lot more cartridges.
The black and white boxes (Ikea) hold embellishments, flowers, papers, beads, charms, chipboard etc. etc. On the left the tall shelves hold most of my inks. The small jars in the centre hold what I call my "fixins"
I did my curtains the easy way by joining 2 square pieces of fabric together - just like a pillow case, except square. I made 3 of them for each window, then lay them over the curtain rod. The flowers are just cardstock cut-outs that I stuck on with glue dots. They remind me of pennants.
Here are my ribbon shelves. I purchased these at Lowes, they are actually meant to be installed inside a pantry to hold cans etc. They work perfectly for ribbon as I don't like to keep them on a rod. It is much better (for me) to just be able to pick out the one I want & replace it without having to lift off a rod. The shelf on the wall holds my button & flower jars.
I found this at Winners. (TJ Maxx in the U.S)
My computer desk, a desk top with drawers on one end and legs on the other, also from Ikea....love the vinyl chandelier over the shelf.
Finally, a vinyl lamp that I found at the dollar store.
Hope you have enjoyed your visit to my craft room.

I love this craft room! What color did you use on the walls, it's just perfect. Such clever ideas.
This craft room is beautiful. What color did you use on the walls? It's just perfect for a calm inspiring room.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for your nice comments. The colour is 'oxford blue' by ICI paints. The number on the paint chip is 10BB 40/090. Hope that helps. Have a nice day,
Babs
Very nice storage design. Love the ribbon storage. I think I will change mine.
I love the way your craft room turned out? If I may ask, how large is the room (in feet? Like, 10ft x 10ft, etc.) Thanks!
Babs, I ran across you blog today on Pinterest. I really loved all of your work. It's a dreary day here in Georgia and it filled in my need for inspiration. Will follow you. A stamping friend.
