Baby Shower Card

My daughter and I are having a shower on Saturday for my new little grandson.  Here is the sidestep dresser card I made.  

We are doing a sock monkey theme - hence the sock monkey on the white t.shirt sticking out of the drawer.

Gift Card

It's late so I'll make this post short & sweet.

I made this gift card holder for my son and daughter-in-laws 1st anniversary. Love the loopy bow!

Back in the Saddle!

 Over the years my hubby has enjoyed having horses.  

Unfortunately, his last one, Cass, died about a year ago.

Now he has a new one, Baron, and since he has been through a lot this past year or so, I decided that he should have a card to celebrate.

The cute digi images are from Bugaboo Stamps

I saw the woven background on a very cute card made by Tracy, and just had to try it.  Go here for the tutorial.  I used white c.s. for the strips and inked the edges with distress ink.  I added the strip of corrugated cardboard and the string bow.  The digi's are all coloured with Copics. (The border around the horse looks pink, but it's red)  The sentiment on the inside is computer generated using the font 'bleeding cowboys'.  Hmmmmm!

Baby Mini Album

I have made a couple of mini albums in the last few months.  

I want to show you the one I made for our new Grandson. But first things first....... being a typical proud Nanna, I just have to show him off to you. lol

He is such a little sweetheart.

Okay, now for the album.....It is 8 x 8" and has 12 pages if you count both sides.  The papers are from the DCWV "Baby Boy Stack".  There are lots of pockets and mats for photos.

Meet our new Grandson

Is he gorgeous or what?

His name is Knox and he was born on July 24th, 2012.  He is the first child of our youngest son and his wife.

We are so thrilled to have a new little grandson in our lives & wanted to share our happiness with you.
