Wedding Tent Card

Here is my first tent fold card.  The tutorial for it is here.
This is a wedding card for some friends who are to be married soon.  I love this birdcage which is on the *Serenade* Cricut cartridge.  I cut out 2 of them and glued them together to make it a little more sturdy, then attached it to the top of the opening using a small jump ring.  The opening is cut out with my scalloped octagon Nesties die.  The flowers are from Maya Rd. and the white & silver d.p. paper is  by *Creative Imaginations* and purchased at Michaels. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background.

A closer look...

Cute or What?

I'll be posting a card soon, but in the meantime I thought I would introduce you to our 2 little dogs.  They have just been groomed and are looking pretty spiffy right now.

This is Alfie,  he is 9 months old.

Here's Sophie, she is 2 1/2 years old.

Sophie & Alfie get along great and love to play.  They can get pretty rambunctious, but they both love to snuggle with us too.

Well, I'll be back with a card soon.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's Tea Time!

I made this easel card especially for the Shabby Tea Room challenge which ended on Sunday.  Because we had trouble with our internet connection, I wasn't able to enter it.  I was sooo bugged!  But what can ya do?
Maybe I'll find another challenge that it would fit.

Here's a couple more pics....

The tea cup is a digi image coloured with my Copics and popped up on 2 layers of d/p & c/s then cut out with Nestie's. I added the little label from a tea bag to the punched out tag.  The ribbon is from Walmart.

The sentiment is one that I have had for a long time, it came with a digital kit I purchased.  Since the sentiment says "Tea Time"  I thought I should add a clock face showing the time at 4 o'clock ~ the traditional time for tea in England.  Actually in England, anytime is teatime! lol  I had some chain in my stash, so added that to the clock face too.

Thanks for stopping by to visit & have a nice day,

Happy Anniversary!

Well, I have finally got my internet connection back, after 2 weeks of on/off service....mostly off!  So, now I can post this anniversary card which I made for my son and daughter in law.
The inside says "Happy Anniversary!"

Another pic...

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be posting another one tomorrow.

Pretty in Blue Jeans

I made this card for That's Krafty Thursday challenge tomorrow over at "The Spotted Chick".
Also entered at "Craft us Crazy"  "Anything Goes"

Here's my "recipe"......
The base card is kraft c/s with denim, blue gingham & kraft layered on top.  I ran the kraft through my cuttlebug with the "traffic jam" folder.  The girl is Connie, a digi stamp from Sugar Nellie
She's coloured with Copics and cut out with my Nestabilities Lacy Oval.
The twine is just plain, cheap twine coloured with my Copics.  I got the idea for this from Paperlicious.  The flowers are punched out and popped up, then finished off with little buttons.

That's all for today, have a lovely day and stop by again soon,

Red Poppies

OOPS!  I did it again ~ 2 watermarks!  I'll get it - eventually!

Here's my second post for today.  This is an easel card.  The poppies are a digital image coloured with Copics and cut out with my Nestabilities "Lacy Ovals" die.

The sentiment is stamped with a "Studio G" rubber stamp and  "Stampin Up" ink.

Thanks for dropping by today,
