Thank You's etc.

My 2nd post for today.
Here are a couple of thank you cards I recently made.

Now a shower card

That's it for today friends, bye for now & happy crafting!

Winter Theme Bridal Shower (with a fun twist)

My Granddaughter's bridal shower was this past Saturday.  The theme was *winter* with a fun twist.... cute penguins.

I've been working on the decorations etc., for a few weeks and here are some pictures of them.

We had a hot chocolate bar which was a big hit.
In this picture the chocolate covered spoons are missing.

Here's the beautiful *bride-to-be* enjoying her hot chocolate!
I made her a fascinator, so cute!

These are the favours, *Penguin Kisses*
Each one holds 2 Hersheys Kisses.
(Go here for the directions to make these)

The food table decorated with pine cones, snowflakes, little gifts and wine glass lamps.

Night time

Water bottles with wraps, made with Memory Mixer on my computer.  Sorry for this picture, but it's the only one I got of the water bottles.

This was a lot of fun to do, thanks so much for looking!

More Sunburst Cards!

Love making these sunburst cards, or starburst, as some people call them. This is a great way of using up your scraps.

Here's two more, the first one is an easel card, I adjusted the size of the top piece to fit the sunburst.

As you have probably noticed, my punching went a little awry on this one... oops!

The next one is for a farewell party.

I did a flap on the inside so that there will be plenty of room for everyone to sign it.

That's it for today, see you soon!

Sunburst Style!

Hi folks,

It's been a while since I posted anything, but I have been busy crafting.  Can't tell you or show you what I've been doing.... it's a secret for now.  Shhh!! ;)

Here's a card I made.  I came across this style while I was browsing on Youtube, I thought it was nice, hope you like it.

The papers are from the Bazzill *Timeless* collection

The inside.
I find it hard to write neatly without lines, so I usually lightly draw some lines with pencil & ruler, then erase them when I've written my message.

Here's a link to one of the many tutorials for this card on Youtube

Thanks for dropping by today, I'll have lots more to share with you soon.
