Special Friend!

I've been wanting to try these paper ruffles ever since I saw them on

Clares blog.  My first try at these wasn't too successful, but I decided to use them anyway. I'll just keep trying & hopefully they'll get better.  

The next pic is a little dark...sorry about that.

I just about have my album finished, just need to make one more insert for a pocket, then it's done.  Here's a picture of another one of the pages,  I will post the rest soon.

Fall Colours!

Hi there, still working on my album, so thought I would show you some ribbon that I picked up at Michael's this week for 50% off.

The pictures really don't do it justice at all, it is just beautiful.  

I love these colours and am looking forward to using these on some cards soon.

I don't have anything new to post at the moment as I am working on a mini album.  It takes me a while to finish one, so in the meantime I thought I would show you a few items that I made for a sale a couple of years back.

What a Doll!

I first saw these dolls and clothes on Stacey's blog and I thought they were so cute.  I decided to make a set for a little friend of ours. I also copied Stacey's idea of the sidestep dresser card to go with them.  I don't think she'll mind lol.
I was disappointed how mine turned out, the polka dot paper looks grubby, but it's not....maybe not such a good choice though for this, but it does look better in real life. lol
Here's a few pictures...

This is the card with a teddy sitting in the drawer, a mirror, coat hanger and rocking horse in front.

I coloured or paper pieced the clothes and added glitter, gems & lace to them.  I think they turned out pretty cute, I hope she likes them.

WOYWW...and what a mess it is!

Lots of room on this table, but I still manage to fill up the entire space with all my stuff.  At the front right is the beginnings of a mini album.  I'm going to make it out of kraft envelopes from the dollar store.

I've been making a dress up doll set for a gift, it's quite a lot of work to cut everything out then do all the dresses  I first saw these on Stacey's blog. (link further down on right)

 Here's an anniversary card, it is a new fold for me which I found on Valita's blog,  The paper is DCWV "Blossom Song" stack ~ ribbon from Walmart ~ sentiment is a digi image.
