More Sunburst Cards!

Love making these sunburst cards, or starburst, as some people call them. This is a great way of using up your scraps.

Here's two more, the first one is an easel card, I adjusted the size of the top piece to fit the sunburst.

As you have probably noticed, my punching went a little awry on this one... oops!

The next one is for a farewell party.

I did a flap on the inside so that there will be plenty of room for everyone to sign it.

That's it for today, see you soon!

Sunburst Style!

Hi folks,

It's been a while since I posted anything, but I have been busy crafting.  Can't tell you or show you what I've been doing.... it's a secret for now.  Shhh!! ;)

Here's a card I made.  I came across this style while I was browsing on Youtube, I thought it was nice, hope you like it.

The papers are from the Bazzill *Timeless* collection

The inside.
I find it hard to write neatly without lines, so I usually lightly draw some lines with pencil & ruler, then erase them when I've written my message.

Here's a link to one of the many tutorials for this card on Youtube

Thanks for dropping by today, I'll have lots more to share with you soon.

*Nana's Recipe Organizer*

I recently made a few card organizers and thought that the design would work well for recipes too.... so here's my latest project.

Pocket of inside front cover holds a couple of bookmarks, the back inside cover holds extra recipe cards

Recipe cards to match.

For this project I purchased the *Grandma's Pantry* kit from Nitwit Collections.
I have purchased several kits from them and love using them, they are very reasonably priced too.

Thanks so much for visiting & have a lovely day!

My Porch *Rug*

Hello Everybody,
I've been working on updating my porch and wanted to share some pictures with you.

The *Rug*

I first had to figure out the size and then draw it out on paper.  Then after taping it off with painters tape I painted the border.

Next I did the stripes, no measuring here, I just eyeballed it!  ;)

 Next, the squares.

Now for the black diamonds.  I did this by cutting out a square piece of cardboard, placing it where I wanted it & drawing around the square with pencil.  Then I painted them.  Lastly, I painted the rest of the floor & steps (not shown) with the same colour as the siding.

Here it is, all finished.  I painted the little rustic birdhouse bench and picked up a couple of striped cushions to tie it all together & I love it!

Here is my inspiration.... Thank you Linda!

Gotta run now, have a lovely day!
