I don't know if penguins are actually 'ticklish', but this little penguin is definitely enjoying himself.

Just a note to let you know how things are going.  

My husband is recovering from a serious surgery and will be undergoing further treatment in the coming months.  I will try to post on here occasionally, but with all that has been going on in our lives I haven't had the inclination to do any scrapbooking lately.

For All My Sisters & Girlfriends Out There...

National  Girlfriend and Sister's Week    I don't want to brag or make anyone jealous or anything, but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school!   I am  only as strong as the coffee I drink, the  hairspray I use, and  the friends I have.  To the cool women who  have touched my life.    Here's to you!       It  is good to be a woman...   1.  We got off the Titanic first.  2. We can  scare male bosses with mysterious  gynecological  disorder excuses.  3. Taxis  stop for us.  4. We don 't look like a frog in  a blender when dancing.  5. No fashion faux  pas we make could ever rival the Speedo.  6.  We don 't have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.   7. If we forget to shave, no one has to  know.  8. We can congratulate our teammate  without ever touching her  rear end.  9. We  never have to reach down every so often to make  sure  our privates are still there.  10. We  have the ability to dress ourselves.  11.   We can talk to the opposite sex without  having to picture  them naked.  12.  If  we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware  that  we will look like an idiot.  13. We will  never regret piercing our ears.  14. There  are times when chocolate really can solve all  your  problems.  15. We can make comments  about how silly men are in their  presence  because they aren't listening anyway.

Hi Friends,

I just wanted to let you know that we are dealing with a serious health situation in our family right now.  I need to be able to concentrate on that and take care of what needs to be done, and so I won't be posting anything new on my blog for the next little while.

The Prairie Creek Inn

In March this is where 3 of my girlfriends and myself are going.  We are looking forward to spending a couple of days just relaxing and scrapping in this beautiful cabin. (shown here in summer) We have never done this before, so we are all very excited about it.

This is the first time I have participated in WOYWW.

(What's on your work desk Wednesday)

I am currently working on a recipe mini album, which means that I have lots going on at once.  My main work desk is 6' long, plus other work spaces I have in my craft room.
