Just a note......

Hi Friends,

I just wanted to let you know that we are dealing with a serious health situation in our family right now.  I need to be able to concentrate on that and take care of what needs to be done, and so I won't be posting anything new on my blog for the next little while.

The Prairie Creek Inn

In March this is where 3 of my girlfriends and myself are going.  We are looking forward to spending a couple of days just relaxing and scrapping in this beautiful cabin. (shown here in summer) We have never done this before, so we are all very excited about it.

This is the first time I have participated in WOYWW.

(What's on your work desk Wednesday)

I am currently working on a recipe mini album, which means that I have lots going on at once.  My main work desk is 6' long, plus other work spaces I have in my craft room.

I've been using my Cricut today with my new cartridge "From My Kitchen"

Finally....here's another area with a bunch of bits & pieces that I may use for the album.

Altered Pop Top Can (Feb.14/11)

Here is a little pop top can that I decorated.  The bottom of the can is removed so that you can put a gift inside, then the bottom is glued back on again.  The label is removed and used as a template to cut out your designer paper, then you can decorate the can anyway you wish.  These are really fun to give because the recipient has no idea how you did that???

My New Look!

As you can see my blog has a new look.  I thought it was time for a change.  I'm not sure if I will keep this one, I may find something else, so don't be surprised if it looks different again the next time you visit.

I still haven't had time to make anything new yet, maybe tomorrow. Until then I thought I would show you where I lived as a child in England.  I loved this little cottage and cried my eyes out when we had to move.
