Here's my latest project, which is to make 10 of these invitations for my son's mum-in-law. They are for a kids party.
I found the idea for the ladybug somewhere on the web. It's easy peasy, just using punches, but a little time consuming.
For the wings, I first punched out a black circle, then a red circle in which I punched small holes. I then cut the wings in two and glued the red to the black. This is what's behind them.........
The rest of the info for the party is on the inside of the card.
Gotta share another picture of our grandson...

That's it for today folks,
Absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute Babs! I like that the wings open for part of the invitation writing. That's fun. :-) I love to see little ones with those big grins on their faces. We have one about the same age at church and his smiles just make me all warm and fuzzy. LOL Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Babs, sorry I haven't stopped by recently, but I haven't gone anywhere or done anything for some time. I just don't feel like it. Your work is gorgeous, though. Love the updates of your precious baby. Hugs, dj
