Here's my first project since re-doing my craft room, and I must say that taking a break for 3 weeks or so definitely did a number on my creativity. But I finally got it done. It's a *book box* engagement card for a young couple in our congregation.
A closer look at the front
From the side
The inside.
You could add a little gift or gift card in here.
What I used.......
The papers are Recollections *My Favourite Things*
The flower and sentiment are digi images
Ribbon from Michael's.
Butterfly and lacy edge punch are Martha Stewart.
Gems from the dollar store.
A video for instructions and measurements can be found *here*
Did you notice that the first couple of pictures have a pinkish tone to them. I took these without using my Ott light..... for the last ones I did use it, makes quite a difference to the actual colour, which is the ones taken with the Ott light.
Thanks for stopping by,
Wow I love it, what a lot of work you've put into it....but then you always do with your projects. Just beautiful. Hugs lin
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Babs! What a great idea! I know what you mean about not crafting for a few weeks then no creativity. I sat in my craft room for a few hours yesterday and finally got into it for a minute today, but had to stop, so we will see if I can get the flow back! You certainly did. I bet working in your new room is wonderful! I love your new space!
ReplyDeleteOh gorgeous card and love the beautiful details and colours.
